Here is a list of some of the beers inspired by surfing. If you know of any more then please hit the contact/comment button and let me know.

thewhale recently ordered a chilled Longboarder beer on his local beach; it's brewed by the Hawaiian, Kona Brewery. In the deep Asian heat it was a seriously refreshing thirst quencher and thewhale highly recommends it. This got thewhale thinking about other beers inspired by surfing. Other beers sampled over the years are Porthleven, an English beer brewed by the excellent Skinners Brewery in deepest, darkest Cornwall; Porthleven is named after the left hand reef break of the same name in south Cornwall. Another one is Big Wave Bay, which is a craft beer brewed in Hong Kong of all places. The king of surf beers; however, has to be Bintang. Although it has no connection to surfing on its label, it is the beer of choice amongst the thriving surf community of Indonesia and it is a cracking post surf thirst quencher. It is synonymous with the well developed surf scene all across Indonesia and is almost a surf brand in itself with surfers wearing Bintang vests and general apparel in and out of the water.
